PrintScan is a mobile application that replaces traditional fingerprint capture devices for fingerprint acquisition. Instead of utilizing additional hardware, the application leverages the increasingly powerful cameras built into everyday mobile devices to capture fingerprint images.
PrintScan software is designed to perform two primary functions:
- Fingerprint acquisition and grayscale conversion
- Fingerprint detection and segmentation fluidly present captured fingerprints individually, for search or enrolment purposes
From a functional perspective, AA Technology software work in the same way as traditional fingerprint sensor-based captures devices.

Mobile Fingerprint Scan
Our software-based solution is easily configurable to allow users / integrators to select a choice fingerprint capture for any number of fingers. The choices include the capture of a single finger, the capture of two fingers or the four fingers. Users may also capture four fingers (two of each hand) or capture all ten fingers (four combined and thumbs of each hand).
